Shawano County, Wisconsin

Shawano County is located in east central Wisconsin. It was named for the Ojibwa term meaning "Southern".

The seat and largest city is Shawano.

It borders Menominee, Oconto, Brown, Outagamie, Waupaca, Portage, Marathon and Langlade Counties.
Main highways include US-45, WI-22, WI-29, WI32, WI-47, WI-52, WI-55 and WI-110.
